About Dry Stone Waller, Eric Landman

Eric Landman grew up on a dairy farm, which he took over when his father retired. Eric continued to run the farm and raise a family of six kids with his wife Kerry. After doing several odds jobs with a local landscaping company Eric ended up building his first dry stone wall and was instantly bit by the dry stone walling bug. He proceeded to take courses with the Dry Stone Walling Association of Canada (DSWAC). He went back to the landsaping company with refined dry stone walling skills. Since then he has done numerous walls, water features, and structures. He also has participated in festivals with the DSWAC building various structures, including the Black house on his home farm. As of 2010 Eric became the field director of the DSWAC. He is now working full time dry stone walling and continues to farm in his spare time.
